You can see on-site living & working examples of Straw Bale, Earthen Plastering and both Rammed and Poured Earth walls, which have been in continuous use in parts of the Mosaic School and other areas of Daruma EcoVillage as part of the accommodation blocks & teaching venue.
All the bricks used in the perimeter wall at Daruma are compressed, stabilized earth & have been in place for a decade or so.
