Two courses are open for booking now: the nine-day Permaculture Design Course and a two-day introduction for beginners, both taught at Mosaic School, our permaculture designed campus one hour from Bangkok Airport. Natural building and the rest of Daruma's teaching are coming back to the calendar, and some courses can run on request.

01 · Design
The complete design method: nine days teaching the full 72-hour-standard curriculum, plus your own design project on a real site. You leave with the internationally recognised PDC.

02 · Introduction
A two-day introduction: systems thinking, the ethics and principles of permaculture, bioclimatic design, sector analysis and zoning. Taught in English and Thai by Neil Willmann and Vitoon Panyakul.

Daruma was built incrementally with people who came to learn and contribute. Since 2007 we have hosted well over 500 WWOOF volunteers from more than 35 countries, and there are no fees for volunteering.
Volunteers integrate into the community, learning experientially about permaculture, the working farm and our school, Mosaic.
2026 course dates
Three dated intakes are open for planning. The two-day introduction runs alongside two residential Permaculture Design Courses, both with an afternoon arrival and next-day departure.
